why is it still on the gw2 site? is it going to be a real profession?
becouse there were only humans in the skill videos and it was 1 april i thought they would fast remove it becouse it was a joke.

come on, predator missiles? Apache battle helicopters? attack submarines?

It's almost definitely still an april fools thing. They put a lot of work into it, so no reason to take it down right away. :-)

Well, is there a reason to remove it until the next real reveal? Its not like it hurts anyone.

And even after it gets taken off the profession page, I'm sure they'll have a perma link to the Commando's page.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are going to keep it up until the next reveal. Hopefully that means one is coming soon. But rest assured it is not going to be a real profession.

If they included the commando I would rush to buy GW2. Seriously, who hasn't dreamed of using modern technology on past battlefields? MMMMMM, vulcan cannon vs. roman legion, tasty.

I can't believe anyone believes for a second that a SWAT team commando revealed on April 1st, will actually be in the game....

On a side note, this might provide them ideas and perhaps after GW2 is released they can work on something with that theme in mind though.
Team based MMO with sorcery vs. technology. If anyone has read Grunts by Mary Gentle, you know what I have in mind.
